Why
Top Dead Center?

Top dead center—TDC—is where it starts. When a piston reaches the highest point in the cylinder of an internal combustion engine, it’s at top dead center. From here, timing is set. Systems are synchronized. Everything knows when to do what it’s supposed to do. It’s a fixed reference point—the beginning state for tuning, troubleshooting, and getting things working together.

Without synchronization, nothing really happens.

That idea is what we’re chasing at Top Dead Center. Finding a good place to start. In a city—and a motoring world—with a lot of noise and a lot of opinions, we wanted to create a space that brings things back into alignment. A place where people who appreciate the spirit, history, and joy of motorsports can come together—whether that’s café racing, MotoGP, Formula One, or simply the pleasure of riding and a well-made cup of coffee.

At Top Dead Center, riding, wrenching, collecting, eating, and hanging out all meet in one place. No gatekeeping, no posturing—just shared interests, good hospitality, and room for everyone at the table.
