FAQs

Do I need to ride a motorcycle to hang out here?

Not at all! While we celebrate motorsports and motorcycle culture, Top Dead Center is open to everyone — families, neighbors, coffee lovers, and racing fans alike.

Do you sell or work on motorcycles?

Even though our building has a rich history as a former Moto Guzzi, BMW, Alfa Romeo and Lotus sales and service center, we do not work on customers’ motorcycles, nor are we an authority on maintenance. We do tinker on our own motorcycles and we’re happy to offer guidance or answer questions when possible.

What kind of coffee beans do you use?

For our espresso drinks, we use Stumptown’s Holler Mountain blend and Nguyen Coffee’s True Grit for our Vietnamese coffee (Phin Drip). For our cold brew, we use a blend of Robusta and Arabica beans to create a unique, smooth extract.

What kind of drinks and food do you serve?

We serve a focused menu of espresso drinks, wine, beer, and casual beverages, alongside light food options. On select evenings, we host some of our favorite food vendors for even more variety.

What is “The Paddock”?

The Paddock is our beer and wine lounge, located in the converted garage space with a vintage vinyl bar, motorsports screenings, and outdoor covered patio seating. It’s the perfect spot to chill, watch a race, and connect with folks in the community.

Do you host motorcycle or motorsports events?

Yes! We host regular gatherings, ride-ins, and special community events -not just those tied to motorsports culture. Keep an eye on our calendar and social channels for upcoming workshops, clinics, races on the big screen, and themed nights.

Can I bring my kids or non-riding friends?

Absolutely. Top Dead Center is a community hub first — kids are welcome in the café and the Paddock area. We are a permitted restaurant that sells beer & wine, so licensed for all ages.

What’s up with the motorcycles displayed in the space?

Yes, you’ll see rotating vintage motorcycles (and the occasional car) from our collection featured inside The Paddock and café areas. We’re proud to say that just about all of them run - except the ones that very obviously do not :)

Do you allow dogs?

Sweeties-get-Treaties! We have some OMG treats for good boys and girls, so doggo friends are some of our biggest fans and we often see them dragging their owners in. However, we do have a 1-strike rule - so friskier friends are welcome to hang outside.

Can you host private events?

We can! We have hosted off-sites, birthday parties and meetings in the cafe or Paddock. Reach out to us: info@topdeadcenterseattle.com for more info.
